The universe communicates with us through whispering winds of change… wise are we who hear its song with open hearts and curious minds and embrace new journeys toward interconnectedness of mind-body-soul-life energies that yearn for cosmic consciousness and living fully present in the moment, where love flows strongest and most resplendently… leading us to our destiny.
Believe in yourself, trust yourself, listen to yourself, love yourself… and free yourself to soar far and wide wherever your winds may take you. The cosmos of endless possibilities is at your fingertips…
Lately, I’ve been intensely pondering the interconnectedness of mind, body, soul and life. These thoughts have accompanied me for most of my life, and shaped many of my personal – and professional – values and belief systems, leading me to believe that love is ultimately what matters most in life.
Today in particular, I’ve been thinking about soul and how it communicates through dreams. As children, we live in a world of realimagination – the interconnectedness of reality + imagination, freed by the power of our childhood curiosity – filled with endless love and the unfettered energy of our dreams. As we mature, we chase… or learn to change… maybe temper or release… and sometimes even destroy those dreams, for ourselves or for others. I can’t help but recall the countless times I’ve heard others openly (or secretly!) praise others for being crazy, daring, bold… strong enough to chase their dreams… regardless of the support or opposition of others.
Our universe is vast… expansive… tremendous and well beyond our (current) abilities to know and understand it. Mysteries abound; beauty is all around us; love flows freely… and we are each of us as interconnected with it as it is with us.
So listen to your soul… carefully. It speaks a different language than you’re used to, and you will need patience, dedication and practice to learn it. You knew (or know?☺) it as a child; you can (re)learn it as an adult. Just remember one thing:
The universe is full of wondrous dreams for all of us, so dream often, dream big…
and fill your soul with love so it shines brightly to guide you.
These past several days, I’ve been focusing more on the here and now – basically, ignoring the where and when of life. That leaves who, what, how and why – the journey itself. Amazing how much clarity, insight and depth can be gained from focusing on journey and not being attached to the results. Do what you’re doing, and do it well.
Maybe we would all benefit if we applied this perspective more often to our own human journey. Imagine if we could stop the wheels spinning inside our heads, the wheels we think are spinning inside everyone else’s heads (especially when those wheels talk about us, judge us, etc… which we know they are!…). Find that internal state of equilibrium where our energies resonate, harmonize and express in a way that allows us to be the best us we can be. I’ve discovered an amazing energy that emanates from being in the here and now… and it’s contagious. Others do notice!
So, start now: practice equilibrium. Focus on the here and now. Stop worrying about where and when, and focus instead on the who, what, how and why – especially as they relate to our basic energies (mind, body, soul, and life) and what those energies tell us. Help them find the right equilibrium for you and then just ride that beautiful wave wherever it goes…
Pop culture phenomenon Lady Gaga’s hit song Born This Way coveys an oft-repeated (but less than oft-embraced) message: love yourself. Her simplistic yet catchy lyrics go a tad further though, enticing us to celebrate being born this way. Are we? Really?
For some elements of life, sure: eye color, height, race, instincts, intrinsic motivation, etc. Maybe not others, though: weight, strength, negative thinking, belief systems, psychosocial development etc. Ultimately all are impacted – directly or indirectly – by our attitude. We should (must?) tune our attitudes so we are embrace our goodness, discard (or change!) the bad, and learn to love ourselves fully and unconditionally… for whoever we are… and whoever we wish to become.
What do you think? Do you like what you see in the mirror? Do you celebrate your strengths, strengthen your weaknesses, and weaken your self-imposed chains? Do you love yourself fully and unconditionally?
